Creative biography of Evgeniy Rudakov.
Evgeniy Rudakov was born on May 19, 1987 into a family of civil engineers. Observing the child’s excessive interest in music, at the age of 7, Evgeniy’s parents sent him to music school N8 in Nizhny Novgorod.
Natalya Vasilievna Barkova, Evgeniy’s first music teacher, immediately noticed the extraordinary talent of the very young pianist and began to devote more time to classes than was determined by the school curriculum. The results of such an irresistible desire to daily gain mastery in playing the piano and the efforts of the teacher were not long in coming:
-in 1995, Evgeniy became a laureate of the 2nd prize at the Regional Competition for Young Pianists named after. V.Yu. Willuana,
- in 1997 - laureate of the 1st prize and winner of the Grand Prix of the above competition, as well as a scholarship holder of the International Charity Program “New Names”,
-and in 1998 - became a laureate of the 2nd prize and winner of the audience award at the All-Russian Piano Competition. V.I. Safonova.
A.G. Skavronsky, People's Artist of Russia, chairman of the jury of this competition, showed increased interest in Evgeniy's performance and gave advice to enter the MSMSH. Gnesin in Moscow to continue his studies professionally. In 1998, Evgeniy successfully entered, and in 2005 he graduated from the MSMSH. Gnessins (class of teacher, head of the department of special piano I.V. Renova).
Since 2000, Rudakov E. under the leadership of T.A. Gaidamovich and A.Z. Bonduryansky, professors of the Moscow State Conservatory named after. P.I. Tchaikovsky, and the founder and president of the New Names Foundation, I. N. Voronova, performed in the largest and most prestigious concert halls in Moscow and toured Russian cities as part of the piano trio of the same name, New Names, and received the title of scholarship holder of the New Names International Charity Program.
Completed an internship in a mastery class T.A. Gaidamovich and L.V. Roshchina at the summer creative school “New Names”, Suzdal. In 2003 - diploma winner of the II International Youth Piano Competition named after. Gnesins. From 2005-2010 studied at the Russian Academy of Music. Gnessins (class of Professor S.E. Senkov, I.V. Malinina).

From 2008 to the present, an artist of one of the leading pop and symphony orchestras in Moscow, actively tours the cities of Russia and neighboring countries. In 2014, I received an offer from the Japanese musical instrument manufacturer Casio to record a demo video of playing their digital instrument.
Evgeniy recorded several classical works on the new and most affordable digital piano at that time. These videos were a huge success both in Russia and abroad (hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube), since before Evgeniy Rudakov no one had professionally performed classical music on digital instruments or imagined that this was possible. Evgeniy was able to prove that any instrument, if the right touch and interpretation is chosen for it, can do much more than the manufacturer intended.
From 2014 to 2021, he became an official artist of Casio, for which he continued to record videos playing new instruments and returned to performing classical music and solo performances. At this point he became one of the most recognizable pianists on the Internet.
In addition to classical music, Evgeniy has worked and is working in almost all possible genres, not only as a pianist, but also as a keyboard player:
-New-age Hard rock - project “CarbonRock” by Sergei Lemokh (“CarMan” group),
-Glam pop with Sergei Zverev ("ZverevBand"),
-theatrical and musical buff project “Mina and Paul”,
-pop symphony orchestra,
-participated in concerts at the State Kremlin Palace with Alexandra Pakhmutova, Igor Krutoy, Oleg Gazmanov, Dmitry Hvorostovsky, Alexander Serov, Denis Maidanov, Philip Kirkorov and other Russian pop stars,
-BKZ "Oktyabrsky" - solo concerts of Sergei Volchkov,
-MTS Live Hall with a “disco 80s” concert and much more.
Regularly takes part in the filming of the "Romance of Romance" program on the "Russia - Culture" TV channel.
He is the pianist of a modern show based on the classical canons of Metalliada, and actively tours as part of a symphony orchestra. He underwent advanced training and took part in master classes from outstanding pianists of our time: Dmitry Bashkirov, Dmitry Alekseev, Lev Natochenny in Hamburg, Germany.
In his playing, Evgeny Rudakov displays high virtuosity, subtle musicality and a deep understanding of works of different styles and eras. He performs both classical music and works by contemporary composers, while he himself is a composer and author of lyrics for songs.
